Gene Simmons Postpones Pechanga Concert For Unexplained Reasons

Date:

TEMECULA, CA — It’s official. Longtime Kiss bass guitarist and singer Gene Simmons has postponed his Pechanga Resort Casino show for April 4, as well as all West Coast tour dates for the Gene Simmons Band on his current tour.

According to his spokesperson, the former bass guitarist and co-founder of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Kiss will return to the stage in May to open this concert series in Georgia. No reason was given for the abrupt cancellation of the West Coast shows.

Simmons planned California performances, including a SoCal stop at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, an appearance at the Anaheim House of Blues, and a Bay Area stop in Rohnert Park, were delayed through 2026, according to spokesperson Christina Vitagliano, over a Facebook announcement.

“If you bought tickets, you will get a refund from wherever you purchased the tickets,” Vitagliano, who describes herself as the doer of stuff for The God of Thunder on Facebook, said. “If you bought a bass experience, email me, and I will refund your experience unless you want to move to another date. Super simple!”

April 3 – Anaheim, CA @ House of Blues
April 4– Temecula, CA @ Pechanga Resort Casino
April 5 – Rohnert Park, CA @ The Event at Graton Resort & Casino
April 8 – Auburn, WA @ Muckleshoot Casino Resort
April 10 – Magna, UT @ The Great Saltair
April 11 – Denver, CO @ Paramount Theatre
April 25 – Clearwater, FL @ Ruth Eckerd Hall
April 26 – Miami Beach, FL @ Fillmore
April 28 – Tallahassee, FL @ The Moon
April 29 – Jacksonville, FL @ Florida Theater
April 30 – Orlando, FL @ Hard Rock Live

Simmons expects to hit the stage on May 2, in Peachtree City, Georgia, at the Fred Amphitheater and continue his tour from there. His tour dates continue through Aug. 3 in Sturgis, South Dakota. All of the West Coast delayed shows would be rescheduled to 2026, though no specific dates were yet unveiled.

The now refundable Gene Simmons bass experience, priced from $6,500 to $12,500, included an exclusive meet and greet with Simmons, a signed bass guitar and case, and the chance for photos and videos for up to four people, according to the genesimmonsaxe.com website. “You will find that Gene Simmons is very down-to-earth, funny, and knowledgeable on almost any subject.”

However, it did not include tickets to the show.
