Fatal Traffic Collision

On Saturday, December 12, 2020 about 2:41 AM, deputies from Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Perris Station responded to a major injury traffic collision near the intersection of Indian Avenue and Markham Street in the city of Perris. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a collision involving a silver 2007 Lexus and a red 2013 Ken Worth Big Rig tractor trailer. The driver of the Lexus suffered major injuries and succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Her identity is not being released at this time. The driver of the Ken Worth tractor sustained no injuries and was questioned at the scene. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision, the investigation is on-going.

The Perris Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
