Homicide – September 13, 2021

On September 13, 2021, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to the 4000 block of Riverview Drive to investigate a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as, Richard Allen Cervantes, a 39 year-old from Jurupa Valley, deceased at the scene.

Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and the Jurupa Valley Station were notified and have assumed the investigation. The suspect(s) fled the area prior to deputies arrival and are currently outstanding.
