Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

On Saturday, December 12th, 2020, at 1:58 P.M., members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a stolen vehicle in the 14000 block of Linnett Drive, in the city of Moreno Valley. The vehicle fled and a pursuit was initiated. As the vehicle fled from deputies, the vehicle collided into an unoccupied residence located in the 23000 block of Vought Street.

The two occupants of the vehicle fled from the scene. The driver was identified as Higiniodaniel Suarez, a 32-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. The front passenger was identified as Andre Mitchell, a 29-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. Suarez and Mitchell were taken into custody and transported to the Riverside University Health Systems Hospital to receive medical treatment for injuries sustained during the traffic collision.

Suarez was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Felony Evading. Mitchell was taken into custody and charged with Resisting Arrest, Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, and Probation Violation. Suarez and Mitchell were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
