Palm Desert Station Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) conducted further investigation regarding two commercial burglaries that occurred on November 06, 2021, at a local resort in Rancho Mirage. BSU identified Ramiro Talavera, 30 of Cathedral City, as the suspect in these burglaries.
On Monday, December 13, 2021, at 8:20 P.M., deputies assigned to the Thermal Station responded to a traffic collision involving a white GMC Sierra and a red Chevrolet Camaro at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Street and Cairo Avenue in the city of Coachella.
On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Perris Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to two separate armed robbery calls occurring in the 2000 block of Perris Blvd and 400 block of E. 4th Street, in the city of Perris. The armed robberies occurred within 10 minutes of each other. Deputies arrived on-scene and learned the same suspect entered the businesses, brandished a firearm, and demanded liquid codeine before fleeing the locations.
On Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 9:59 PM, Region 3 Gang Task Force Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 3500 Block of West Florida Avenue, in the City of Hemet, on a BMW coupe for vehicle code violations. Task Force Officers spoke with the driver, Richard Jimenez, who indicated he had a warrant.
On Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 3:15 PM, San Jacinto Deputies responded to the 700 block of Sweet Clover Loop, San Jacinto regarding a burglary that had occurred. The victim arrived home and found an unknown male inside eating food. The male threatened the victim's life and fled the residence.
