On July 28, 2023, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a burglary at a storage facility in the city of Palm Desert. The suspects victimized four separate people by stealing a total of over $30,000 worth of property from their storage units.

On Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 2:45 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force, with the assistance of La Quinta Special Enforcement Team and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Aviation, served a search warrant at a residence located in the 52000 block of Calle Leandro in Coachella and at a residence in the 81000 block of Avenue 46 in Indio.

Beginning in May 2023, several large warehouse businesses in the 13000 block of Estelle Street in the unincorporated area of Home Gardens were victims of thefts. The Lake Mathews Station Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation.

On Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force, with the assistance of California Highway Patrol K-9 Team and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Aviation, served a search warrant at a residence located in the 45000 block of Bradley Way in the city of Indio.

On July 29, 2023, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff Station responded to a robbery that occurred in the area of Ramon Road and Thousand Palm Canyon Road, in unincorporated Thousand Palms.
