This investigation began around 8:20 AM on October 23, 2022, after officers from the Colma Police Department, located in the San Francisco Bay area, responded to a 911 call.

On October 20, 2022, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jurupa Valley Station, responded to the 6000 block of Rosewood Way in the city of Eastvale to investigate a juvenile medical aid.

The victim in this case has been identified as Kelvin Jackett, a 51-year-old male resident of Eastvale. The investigation is on-going. On October 17, 2022, at 12:14 AM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 12000 block of Craigburn Circle in Eastvale. Upon arriving, deputies located two males suffering from gunshot wounds.

On October 15, 2022, at 3:10 AM, deputies from the Hemet Sheriff station responded to the 200 block of Soboba Road in Hemet regarding a report of an unresponsive male subject in the roadway.
