One year after Uvalde shooting, investigation of police response continues
A criminal investigation in Texas over the hesitant police response to the Robb Elementary School shooting is still ongoing as Wednesday marks one year since a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers inside a fourth-grade classroom in Uvalde.

On Saturday, May 20, 2023, at approximately 12:49 am, deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff Station responded to the 17900 block of Van Buren Blvd in the unincorporated area of Riverside commonly known as Woodcrest regarding a shooting that just occurred.

Investigators have identified and arrested a third suspect in connection with the homicide investigation of Jeremy M. Abshear. The third suspect is identified as Aisa K. Bailey, 19-year-old, male, resident of Palm Desert.
