An investigation into Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents has intensified in recent weeks, with prosecutors summoning a broad range of witnesses before a federal grand jury and zeroing in on questions of whether the former president or others obstructed government efforts to recover the records.

On May 07, 2023, at about 2:09 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station responded to a report of a medical aid call in the 33100 block of Jamieson St., Lake Elsinore. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a male victim with gunshot wounds. The male victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Investigators have identified and arrested three suspects in connection with the homicide investigation of Robert Bettencourt, that occurred on 03/06/23, in Winchester. Three suspects were taken into custody without incident at or near their residences and are identified as Kevin R. Hirsch, 46-year-old, resident of Menifee, Clifford Franken, 54-year-old resident of Hemet, and Matthew Fromer, 50-year-old resident of Menifee.

On May 1, 2023, deputies developed information of the location of David Salcida. Deputies responded to the area of 29000 block of Rawlings Way, Lake Elsinore. Salcida attempted to flee but was apprehended and taken into custody without incident.

On 08/29/16, at 5:02 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southwest Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to an unresponsive female on the 12000 block of Pechanga Road, within the Pechanga Indian Reservation in Temecula.
