Battery Investigation
On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 5:23 P.M., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station were dispatched to the report of a past battery that occurred at a high school located in the 4000 block of Camino Real, Jurupa Valley.

On November 24, 2022, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to the 32600 block of Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore reference an assault with a deadly weapon.
Homicide
On January 12, 2023, at 1:31 hours, deputies assigned to the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center were alerted of a disturbance coming from within one of the cells. Deputies went to investigate and found an inmate identified as the victim Mark A. Spratt, 24-year-old, resident of Fontana, unresponsive with several injuries.
