On Friday, November 26, 2021, at 1:51 AM, deputies responded to a business in the 4000 block of N. Perris Boulevard in Perris for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies arrived within minutes and located an unconscious adult male with traumatic injuries.

The 13 Southern California siblings rescued three years ago from horribly abusive conditions that included being locked in their home for years, shackled to beds and starved by their parents have been failed at different points by a social services system that was supposed to help them transition to new lives, according to an investigation by ABC News.

Four people, including two children, killed in Northern California after a wrong-way driver crashed head-on into their vehicle on Interstate 80 were members of a family headed to the Grand Canyon on vacation, their relatives said.

On November 9, 2020, about 2:46 PM, Jurupa Valley Station Deputies were dispatched to a call of an unresponsive male adult in the 6400 block of Wells Springs Street, city of Eastvale. Upon deputies arrival, it was determined a 19 year old male adult was deceased.

During the course of this investigation, Christopher Baker, 36 years of Woodcrest, was identified as a suspect. Baker had been arrested for a felony warrany unrelated to this case on November 10, 2021, and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center. November 11, 2021, Baker was also arrested for murder.
