Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) will host a virtual TEDx program focused on "Awareness" at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2020. Out of an abundance of caution amid rising COVID-19 cases in Riverside County, MSJC will hold the event virtually, enabling the public to watch and listen to the eight speakers safely on Zoom.
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced today that Riverside County will move back to the state’s purple tier, which is the most restrictive tier that requires several types of businesses and places of worship to move outside. These places will need to change operations to outside only within 72 hours.
When state lawmakers in July cut $150 million from the California court system, they offered this hope to stressed-out administrators: The cuts would vanish if Congress sent the state more money before Oct. 15.
Riverside County is now in the red tier of the state’s reopening plan, paving the way for more businesses and community places to resume indoor operations.
