Gang Member Arrested for Robbery

On January 5th, 2021, at 7:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Coachella Valley Narcotic Task Force (CVNTF), served a search warrant at a residence in the 85200 block of Avenue 55 in the unincorporated area of Thermal. The search warrant stemmed from a robbery at gunpoint incident which occurred on December 27th, 2020 in the 53500 block of Cesar Chavez in the city of Coachella.

Commercial Burglary

On December 7, 2020, at 7:20 AM, Moreno Valley Station deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Alessandro Blvd. city of Moreno Valley, regarding a commercial burglary. The business owner arrived at the location, found the business ransacked and located a large hole in the wall of the location.

Arrests Made in Connection to Series of Burglaries

On December 19, 2020, La Quinta Special Enforcement Team deputies conducted a follow-up investigation that stemmed from a series of burglaries occurred at a storage facility located at the 46000 block of Adams Street, in La Quinta. Deputies identified a third suspect involved in the burglaries.

Robbery Arrest – December 2, 2020

On December 2, 2020, at 7:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT) served a search warrant with the assistance of La Quinta Special Enforcement Team (SET), The Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT), and the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (CVVCGTF) at three locations in the cities of Coachella and Indio. The search warrant stemmed from a robbery incident which occurred on November 29th, 2020 at De Oro park in the city of Coachella.

Commercial Burglary

On November 29, 2020, deputies responded to the 18400 block of Collier Avenue, Lake Elsinore, regarding an alarm at ULTA Beauty Supply. Upon their arrival, they determined a burglary had occurred. A search for a suspect vehicle was initiated. California Highway Patrol (CHP) located a vehicle matching the description and attempted to stop the vehicle.
