On November 27, 2020, at about 7:20 PM, patrol Deputies responded to a report of a robbery in the 400 Block of E. Lakeshore Drive, in the City of Lake Elsinore. Two victims reported being robbed by five to six unidentified Hispanic males, two of which, pointed guns at them. Personal property was taken from both victims during the robbery.
On Monday, November 2, 2020, at 8:20pm, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s station responded to the 31000 block of Grape Street, city of Lake Elsinore, regarding a commercial burglary. Upon arrival, deputies saw a subject inside the Wells Fargo Bank. Deputies contacted the subject as he exited the building through a side door.
The Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team conducted a follow-up investigation regarding several commercial burglaries from a business in the 70000 block of Hwy 111, Rancho Mirage. The investigation lead them to another business in the 73000 block of El Paseo Drive, Palm Desert, where the stolen property was believed to be located.
On Sunday, October 25, 2020, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a burglary in progress on the 28000 block of Red Gum Dr. in the county area of Lake Elsinore. Riverside Sheriff’s Aviation Unit observed and followed a vehicle leaving the location. The vehicle was occupied by two suspects, later identified as Eric Valencia, 36-years of age, and Jack DeStefano, 29-years of age, both subjects reside in the city of Lake Elsinore.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2020, deputies from the Perris Station Special Enforcement Team and Perris Station Patrol Operations received information regarding a wanted felon near the 16000 block of Quarter Horse Road, Woodcrest. Deputies arrived and located 27-year-old Damion Silvas of Woodcrest, 33-year-old James King of Woodcrest, and 48-year-old Heather Eklund of Woodcrest. As deputies conducted their investigation, they discovered a stolen vehicle and methamphetamine consistent with drug sales.
