Indoor Marijuana Cultivation Search Warrants – October 3, 2020

On Saturday, October 3, 2020, personnel from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station served two search warrants related to illegal indoor residential marijuana grows. During the warrant service, a total of approximately 1,920 plants were eradicated from these residences. A total combined weight of approximately two tons of marijuana was collected.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – October 3, 2020

On Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 3:15 a.m., Thermal Station deputies responded to the 49000 block of Grapefruit Blvd. in Coachella. Jose Angel Sanchez, 19 of Indio, was arrested for firing a handgun at a moving vehicle. The victim was uninjured by the shot and there are no suspects outstanding.
