Last week we took the community to task for not giving their support to the Ramona Play's 100th Anniversary celebration. Lo and behold the turnout at Dattilo's Ristorante fundraising bash was jammed to the wall, speculated to have brought in about $8,000.

Following the dismal midterm showing, there’s a lot of blame to go around. While I can and will sum up the issue, I want to focus more narrowly on the way in which the entire Republican machine is turning from Trump, who is now anathema, to Ron DeSantis, who is the new god.

Federal prosecutors have asked a judge to sentence disgraced Theranos CE0 Elizabeth Holmes to 15 years in prison, arguing she deserves a lengthy prison term because her massive scheme duped investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars by falsely convincing them her company had developed a revolutionary blood testing device.

With Democrats managing to hang on to control of the U.S. Senate following votes tallied this weekend, all eyes have shifted to the U.S. House — and to California, which could end up determining the balance of power in Congress and the political direction of the country.

I haven’t had so much excitement in a long time. What a thriller it was! What an incredible show! I was glued to my phone, where I get most of my news, and I couldn’t wait to see the final outcome.
