Deputies learned the victim was riding his quad, when he was approached by a white Cargo Van at the above location. Four subjects jumped out of the van and put the victim at gunpoint.

Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit have identified and arrested Joseph Samuel Runyon, 19-year-old male and Leslie Martinez, 36-year-old female, both residents of Desert Hot Springs as suspects in this investigation.
