On March 17, 2022, at 4:04 p.m., deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an unattended death on the 51200 block of Avenida Ramirez., in La Quinta. Upon arriving, deputies located Rosemary Webster, 85-year-old resident of La Quinta deceased.

Some cities have failed to build housing for decades and are willfully ignoring state laws designed to create more of the housing we need. California currently has a deficit of more than 2.5 million homes across our state – and every city is going to have to step up and do its part to close that gap.

A wrong-way driver was one of two people killed in a head-on crash on the 215 Freeway in Riverside early Tuesday morning. The collision occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on the northbound 215 Freeway near Center Street.
