Approximately thirty years ago, a Jewish youth organization sponsored a trip to Israel for high school kids. Apparently, the last few minutes of the flight were somewhat turbulent, and the plane landed at Ben Gurion Airport with a very palpable thud.

We have a national election taking place on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. We also have a local election along with numerous state propositions. Decisions, decisions. Defining what is being offered might help in making a choice you can live with. We are not fighting anyone; we are electing someone who will hopefully give us what we want.

Ghost is quickly figuring out that he likes people. When Ghost first arrived at Living Free, he was a very shy dog that would hide whenever a person walked into the kennel. However, with a little TLC and patience, Ghost has gained a lot more confidence and has learned that people often come with treats, food, and fun adventures.

The Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) Art Gallery will host a public online discussion about “The Art and Life of Noah Purifoy” from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10.

The City of Hemet is excited to launch a new citizen- first platform to facilitate resident requests and work management, powered by SeeClickFix. Using SeeClickFix, residents will have a direct line of communication to the City of Hemet, allowing them to request services and report issues such as potholes, illegal dumping, abandoned vehicles, and graffiti.
