On Monday, August 17, 2020, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to the 17000 block of Canyon Creek Court in the unincorporated area of Lake Hills to investigate a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as Carl Greg Small, 58 years old, standing in the front yard with a firearm.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced today it is partnering with OnStar’s emergency services to improve access to suicide prevention resources for Veterans.

At 2:05 am, Wanted Suspect - Domingo Cruz was located by Riverside County Sheriff’s Southwest Patrol Deputies in the 30000 Block of Rancho California Road, Temecula, and arrested for possession of a firearm and an active Felony Hit and Run warrant for his arrest. On August 7, 2020, approximately 2:38 pm, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a suspicious persons call in the 70000 block of Tamarisk Lane in the city of Rancho Mirage. Shortly after receiving the call, a deputy arrived on scene and located a male suspect matching the description given by dispatch.

On Saturday, August 15, 2020, personnel from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station served three search warrants related to illegal indoor residential marijuana grows and marijuana sales. During the warrant service, approximately 3,179 plants were eradicated from these residences along with 60 pounds of processed marijuana.
