On Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 4:25 PM, Wildomar deputies responded to a missing person call in the 21000 block of Pumice Lane, Wildomar. Deputies discovered Clyde Waynick, 81 years-old, voluntarily left his residence on August 2, 2020, about 7:00 AM.

On August 2, 2020 at 8:40 am, deputies assigned to the city of Eastvale saw a suspicious vehicle parked at Harada Heritage Park and contacted the occupants, Joseph Garibay (age 41) and Rebeccah Fleming (age 28).

Update – SJUSD Will Open Full Distance Learning and Change to First Day of School

In order to provide a quality instructional program for our students and staff families, we will be postponing our students’ start of the school year. The first day for students will be August 17, 2020, and the last day of school for students will be June 10, 2021. You can expect your child’s school to forward more detailed information in the near future about what this learning at home will look like.

Council Member Bonnie Wright Retires from Hemet City Council

On Tuesday, Jul 28th, during the Hemet City Council meeting Councilwoman Bonnie Wright, who was elected to represent District 4, handed in her resignation. With just three months short from the Nov. 3rd general election and not leaving time for the seat to be placed on the ballot, the city is left to appoint a registered voter from the 4th District to fill her position.
