California Executive Order N-64-20 requires that each county’s elections official send vote-by-mail ballots for the November 3, 2020 General Election to all registered voters. Californians who may need access to in-person voting opportunities - including individuals with disabilities, individuals who speak languages other than English, individuals experiencing homelessness, and others - will still be able to access in-person voting opportunities.

Growing up, the teachers I had in my brick-and-mortar school promoted me to a new grade in the middle of the school year. While I was challenged academically, I wasn’t prepared for the difficulties of being with a new class and the bullying I experienced.

Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-36) is calling on President Donald Trump to extend the expanded unemployment benefits made available under H.R. 748, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. In a letter to President Trump, Dr. Ruiz and 109 other members of the House of Representatives urged an extension of these expanded benefits, which are set to expire at the end of the month.
