Founded in 1929 and the oldest and largest group of retired teachers in the nation, the California Retired Teachers Association (CalRTA) had a lot to celebrate at this year’s Annual Convention and Delegate Assembly in Sacramento from June 7-9.
Division 33 of the California Retired Teachers Association honored its 2024 Scholarship recipients at their recent luncheon on Tuesday, June 11, at the Seven Hills Members Club in Hemet.
Six local educators were the lucky winners in recent teacher grant drawings by both the State CalRTA Teacher Grant program and local CalRTA Division 33.
Hemet High School graduate and Agriculture teacher Katie Fernandes and six of her students were guest presenters at the recent California Retired Teachers Association Division 33 luncheon on April 9th at the Seven Hills Members Club in Hemet.
