On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, about 7:14 P.M., deputies responded to a call for service regarding an alleged child molestation in the city of Norco. It was reported the victim attended Montessori School of Corona, which is a private elementary school, which is where the victim met the suspect, Allyson Berndsen, a 31-year-old resident of Norco.
On Tuesday, January 4th, at approximately 7:19 pm, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded to the 72-300 block of Highway 111, Palm Desert, regarding a grand theft from a retail location. A broadcast of the suspect vehicle was provided and the suspect vehicle was located in the 72-800 block of Highway 111. As deputies approached the vehicle, one of the suspects exited and fled on foot.
On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, about 11:30 AM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, San Jacinto Station, responded to the 400 block of Bryce Canyon Way, regarding a major injury traffic collision. Deputies and Cal Fire arrived and located a deceased juvenile who had been struck by a truck.
On Sunday, January 2nd, 2022, around 1:25 PM, Lake Elsinore Station deputies were dispatched to a home in the 34600 block of Orange Street, in the city of Wildomar, reference a suicidal subject. Dispatch advised the subject admitted to being in possession of a rifle, wanting to kill himself, and stated he was at the residence trying to make contact with the occupant.
On December 31, 2021, at 7:00 P.M., the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT) with the assistance of Thermal Station patrol deputies, served the search warrant at a residence located in the 52-400 block of Jennifer Way in the city of Coachella. The search warrant stemmed from a weapons investigation CCAT was conducting.
