On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife served seven marijuana cultivation related search warrants at seven separate residences/ properties located in the following unincorporated areas of Anza and Aguanga:

On March 6, 2021 at 4:32 am, Eastvale deputies responded to the 5400 block of Homecoming Circle, in the city of Eastvale, for a report of suspicious males wearing ski masks. On arrival, the males were seen in a vehicle driving northbound on Hamner Ave. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle but it fled northbound on Hamner Ave at a high rate of speed.
On March 06, 2021, about 5:30 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno Valley Station, responded to the report of a hit-and-run traffic collision involving a pedestrian, on Sunnymead Boulevard, east of Heacock Street, in the city of Moreno Valley.
In August of 2020, The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office forwarded a criminal complaint to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau regarding an Embezzlement incident that occurred in the city of Canyon Lake. During this complex and lengthy investigation, Investigators revealed that 78-year-old Robert Templeton from Canyon Lake who was the Treasurer for a local Non-Profit Travel Club, diverted club funds into his personal bank account from January of 2017 through December of 2019. Investigators found fifty-six transactions during this period for non-business purposes, totaling over $24,000.00. On today’s date, Templeton was interviewed and arrested for Embezzlement, Grand Theft and Theft by False Pretenses. Robert Templeton was booked into a Riverside County jail without further incident.
