STORY TREE GROWS AT SOBOBA PRESCHOOL

To engage young students even further with literacy, the Soboba Tribal Preschool recently unveiled an art project to serve as a focal point for that message. Lenora “Ponie” Mojado painted a tree mural on one of the large walls of the hallway and it is already making a statement.

Free golf offered to veterans at Echo Hills

In honor and appreciation, Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District has designated Nov. 11-18 as Veterans Appreciation “Free Golf” days at Echo Hills Golf Course in Hemet. Retired and active duty members of the military may play one round of golf per day.

LUNAFEST OFFERS VIRTUAL SCREENING THIS YEAR

The 19th annual LUNAFEST, a national film festival that supports films by and about women, hosted by the Soroptimist Club of San Jacinto-Hemet Valley, will have a virtual screening this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic related restrictions on public gatherings.

Moreno Valley, California – Throughout the month of November, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno Valley Station is joining agencies across the country promoting the importance of wearing a seat belt in the car and keeping children safe by making sure they are properly restrained.
