A nation of addicts

The United States has an addiction problem, but we are far from number one in the world with drug problems. According to the most recent statistics, we are number eight. Iran is number one with approximately 14 million addicted to drugs.

California faces a projected deficit next year even if the U.S. avoids a recession. Despite the expected shortfall, policymakers say they’ll maintain spending on social programs though advocates are calling for more.

I like to introduce you to our next president: Mike Pence. I know he hasn’t declared his bid for the presidency yet, but he will. He is a shrewd and calculating politician and he is just waiting to see which way the wind is blowing before he throws his hat into the race.

Story of the shoes

Cloverlane Foundation has long supported Veterans organizations in the San Jacinto valley as well as other non-profit organizations. Their latest venture is the acquisition of 2,500 pairs of shoes from Pierce Footwear which was created in a category called “Adaptative Performance.”
