Homicide – October 31, 2020

On Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 1:35 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a shots fired call in the area of the 21000 Block of Dracaea Avenue in Moreno Valley. Upon arrival the deputies located a male deceased. 

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The decedent was  identified as Daniel Michael Murua, 21 years old out of Moreno Valley.   

This is an active investigation and no additional details are currently available. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department encourages anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Central Homicide Investigator Munoz at (951) 235-9833 or (760) 770-2452.
