New Pastors Take Over Faith Tabernacle Church

Date:

(New Pastors Take Over)

Pastor John and Dawn Flowers are devoted to the community

The church has been in the Community for over 50 years, purposely built in the middle of San Jacinto so that people could reach it at any time. The Anderson family have been the ministers there for as long as anyone can remember, but there is a change now. The Andersons are taking their ministry on the road and leaving the church/congregation to Pastor John and Dawn Flowers.

John and Dawn Flowers are a part of the Church of God organization. Church of God Ministries started in 1886 and has been going strong ever since. They have churches all over the world and participate in many global missions trips every year. Their website is Churchofgod.org for more information.

This will be Church of God’s first location in San Jacinto, Faith Tabernacle Church is located at 495 W 7th St, San Jacinto, CA 92583. John and Dawn Flowers have been married for over 20 years, they are a blended family and have nine children. They are originally from the Los Angeles area and moved to the San Jacinto Valley in 2002 where they joined in ministry right away. Family is one of the most important things to the Flowers, They love being surrounded by their 14 grandchildren and having their kids over for bar-b-ques. They apply that same passion and devotion to their congregation. They consider them family, a Family of Faith. For the last 17 years Pastor John and Dawn Flowers have been involved in the community. Rotating between Youth Groups and Childrens Church.

Pastor John and Dawn pride themselves on having a strong kids program at their church, that is what their ministry is based on. They also believe that if you empower your children/youth they will inspire the adults to embrace God. It’s important to them that the kids feel like they have a voice and are just as important to the church as the adults are. They have a lot of events planned for the kids in the community, starting with a Trunk or Treat on Halloween. They will be there at 6:00pm giving out candy to children until 8:00 at night.

Pastor John and Dawn would like to Invite Everyone To Join Them For Worship

Pastor John prides himself on having an open door and open arms for all to come. Service begins at 10:00 sunday morning, but before service there is a coffee and donut social time at 9:00 where the new pastors of the church make themselves available for the congregation to talk to. They would love to extend the invite to everyone around the community to come and introduce themselves and join them for service. For mid-week services they have a bible study on Thursday nights at 7:00pm.

You can call (951) 388-9722 for more information about the church and services.
