Marijuana Cultivation Search Warrants

On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife served five marijuana cultivation related search warrants at five separate residences/ properties located in the following unincorporated area of Hemet and Aguanga:

Armed Robbery and Assault with a Deadly Weapon Investigation

On March 26, 2021, La Quinta Special Enforcement Team deputies conducted a follow-up at the John J. Benoit Detention Center, in Indio. While in custody on a separate crime, Noe Millan Mora, 30 of Desert Hot Springs, was booked for robbery and conspiracy.

Homicide

On Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 4:05 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a residence in the 24800 block of Heil Drive to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon investigation. Deputies arrived and located an unconscious adult male with traumatic injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The decedent’s identity is currently being withheld pending notification to the family.

Search Warrant / Possession of Stolen Property

On April 20, 2021, the Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 16400 block of Pinyon Street, in the city of Lake Elsinore. During the service of the search warrant several previously reported stolen items were located and recovered as well as a marijuana conversion lab (honey oil), and methamphetamine.

Search Warrant / Marijuana Cultivation

On April 20, 2021 at 6:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT), with the assistance of the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), La Quinta Special Enforcement Team (SET), Coachella Valley Narcotic Task Force (CVNTF), the Riverside County Special Investigation Bureau, the east end Post-release Accountability and Compliance Team (PACT) and Thermal Station Investigation Bureau served a search warrant in the 70-100 block of Johnson Street in the unincorporated area of Mecca. The search warrant stemmed from an illegal cannabis cultivation investigation. During the search warrant service approximately 11,169 marijuana plants were eradicated for a total weight of approximately 3,180 pounds (1.59 tons) in addition to 500 pounds of processed marijuana.
