Investigators have identified and arrested three suspects in connection with the homicide investigation of Robert Bettencourt, that occurred on 03/06/23, in Winchester. Three suspects were taken into custody without incident at or near their residences and are identified as Kevin R. Hirsch, 46-year-old, resident of Menifee, Clifford Franken, 54-year-old resident of Hemet, and Matthew Fromer, 50-year-old resident of Menifee.

On 08/29/16, at 5:02 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southwest Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to an unresponsive female on the 12000 block of Pechanga Road, within the Pechanga Indian Reservation in Temecula.

On April 23, 2023, investigators from the Central Homicide Unit identified the suspect in the murder of Giovanni Ibarra. David Diaz, a 39-year old male from Los Angeles, was located and arrested in the Otay Mesa area of the city of San Diego. Diaz was later booked for murder at the Robert Presley Detention Center.

The suspect in this case, Paul Galindo, was involved in an Officer Involved Shooting in the city of Redlands, on April 8, 2023, around 10:00 a.m. Galindo was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated and is in stable condition. Upon his discharge from the hospital, Galindo will be arrested for murder, and booked into a Riverside County jail.

The decedent has been identified as 57-year-old Sandra Mayor, a resident of Palm Desert. Sandra Mayor’s husband, 53-year-old Thomas Daniels, is a person of interest, and his whereabouts are unknown.
