On August 14, 2022, deputies from the San Jacinto Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at First Street and Sheriff Avenue in San Jacinto. Upon deputies' arrival, they learned a male may have been shot and fled on foot into an empty field near the dead end of Sheriff Avenue.

On August 14, 2022, at 12:52 a.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff Station responded to the area of Saddleback Wy. and Pillar Ct., Perris, regarding a report of shots fired in the area. Deputies arrived within minutes and located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds.

On Thursday, August 4, at approximately 8:49 pm, the Hemet Public Safety Communications Center received a call requesting a welfare check on an elderly female in a residence in the 1900 block of Calle Amargosa. Officers arrived at the location and discovered a deceased elderly female with visible injuries.

On August 8, 2022, at about 2:10 p.m., deputies assigned to the Perris Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a report of a victim of a shooting in the 24300 block of Gunther Ln., Romoland. Upon arrival, deputies found a male victim on the property suffering from a gunshot wound.

On Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 4:48 AM, deputies from the Thermal Station responded to a residence in the 84000 block of Fiesta Road in Coachella in reference to a shooting call at the location. Deputies arrived and located a deceased male adult with gunshot wounds.
