The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) conducted a sex trafficking investigation that began in Cabazon. During the investigation, RCAHT members learned Cody Hansen, 31 of Desert Hot Springs, was involved in human trafficking of a minor.

In March 2022, the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station, Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST), began investigating a series of catalytic converter thefts that occurred in the city of Moreno Valley.

The victim in this investigation has been identified as Sidrian Alen Cruz, a 29- year-old resident of Moreno Valley.  If anyone has information regarding this investigation, they are encouraged to call Investigators Ted Gonzalez of the Central Homicide Unit at 951-955-2777 or Investigator Myling Sam  of the Moreno Valley  Sheriff’s Station 951-486-6700.

The victim in this case was identified as Michael Moser, a 66-year-old resident of Palm Springs. This investigation remains open and no further information will be released at this time.

On January 27, 2022, about 10:19 AM, Cabazon Sheriff’s Station deputies assigned to the city of Calimesa were dispatched to a call of an unresponsive male adult in the 10000 block of Desert Lawn Drive, city of Calimesa.
