One Arrested in Series of Catalytic Converter Thefts
In March 2022, the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station, Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST), began investigating a series of catalytic converter thefts that occurred in the city of Moreno Valley.
Homicide
The victim in this investigation has been identified as Sidrian Alen Cruz, a 29- year-old resident of Moreno Valley. The victim in this case was identified as Michael Moser, a 66-year-old resident of Palm Springs. This investigation remains open and no further information will be released at this time.
One Arrested for Murder in Fentanyl Poisoning Investigation
On January 27, 2022, about 10:19 AM, Cabazon Sheriff’s Station deputies assigned to the city of Calimesa were dispatched to a call of an unresponsive male adult in the 10000 block of Desert Lawn Drive, city of Calimesa.
1200 Marijuana Plants and $140,000 in Cash were Located During Illegal Marijuana Investigation
On March 10, 2022, at 8:40 am, Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Problem Oriented Policing Team responded to the 13000 block of Sesame Rd., in the city of Moreno Valley and the 24200 block of Gingerwood Pl., in Diamond Bar, regarding an ongoing illegal marijuana cultivation investigation. At the Moreno Valley residence, approximately 1200 marijuana plants, in various stages of growth, and items consistent with illegal cultivation, were located. At the Diamond Bar residence, 5pounds of processed marijuana, one firearm, over $140,000 in cash, and items related to the Moreno Valley illegal marijuana grow, were located.
