On September 10, 2021, at 10:05 pm, Eastvale deputies were conducting a battery investigation near the 5400 block of W. Homecoming Cir., in the city of Eastvale, when an adult male contacted the deputy and advised he had been shot. The deputy requested assistance and rendered medical aid to the victim until relieved by Cal Fire personnel. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Jurupa Valley station detectives responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
Pedro Urieta-Angeles is wanted in connection with this homicide. he is considered armed and dangerous, if seen, do not approach and call 911. He is 5'2, 160 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. On Saturday, September 4, 2021, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station responded to a call for service regarding an unidentified deceased adult female found in the area of McCallister and El Sobrante, which is a remote location in the unincorporated area of Lake Hills. Hunters in the area discovered the deceased female and immediately called 911 to report their findings.
Investigators have identified and arrested two suspects in this investigation. Gilberto Garcia, 37 year old, male of Banning, and Victor Diaz Sandoval, 51year old, male of Cabazon were arrested and booked into custody for murder. The third suspect, Pedro Urieta Angeles, 32 male of Cabazon, remains outstanding.
During the course of this investigation, a suspect was identified in the murder of victim Gabriel Sanchez. On August 31, 2021, the suspect, Juan Perez, 29 years of San Jacinto, had additional charges of Murder, Discharge of a Firearm causing Great Bodily Injury, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm added, as he was already in custody at the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
