Vehicle Theft Investigation / Search Warrant

On February 20, 2021 at 9:00 am, deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Hansen Ave. and Nuevo Rd. in the unincorporated county area of Nuevo regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. Upon arrival, several subjects attempted to flee from the responding deputies. A perimeter was established and a total of ten subjects were located hiding on a large property at the end of Hansen Ave. All ten of the subjects were safely detained without incident.

Suspicious Death

The remains have been positively identified as Guillermo Jacobo, 21 years of age out of Thermal. This case is officially being investigated as a homicide and anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact Central Homicide Investigator Munoz at (760) 770-2452 or (951) 955-2777.

Homicide

On December 26, 2020, at about 4:01 a.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 37000 block of Calle de Lobo, La Cresta. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with two uninjured male residents. They were directed inside where deputies found four males with gunshot wounds.

Homicide – March 22, 2020

Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Central Homicide Unit have been working toward developing leads on a homicide that occurred on March 22, 2020, in the city of Moreno Valley. The decedent, 30-year-old Alaimaluloa Toki, died as a result of the assault. The investigation revealed that 30-year-old Asia Toki, the victim's wife, was responsible for the homicide.
