The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) in partnership with the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team, Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team, Lake Elsinore Special Enforcement Team, Temecula Special Enforcement Team, Riverside Police Department and Murrieta Police Department effected sixty-four arrests during a nearly week-long proactive enforcement operation that targeted online prostitution and those whose demand for these unlawful activities fuels an illicit underground economy, both locally as well as across the State of California.
We would like to announce a new program that will allow residents and business owners to register their security camera systems with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. This program will help deter criminal activity and assist deputies with their investigations.

On November 20th, 2020, at 8:39 pm, deputies attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by a subject who was suspected of driving under the influence near the area of Lark Haven Dr. and Goldfinch St., in the city of Moreno Valley. When deputies activated the emergency lights on their marked Sheriff’s unit, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop, and a vehicle pursuit began.
