Temecula, California – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department made 2 arrests for driving under the influence while conducting a DUI/Driver’s License checkpoint on July 10, 2020. Another driver was arrested for possession of stolen property after driving into the checkpoint in a reported stolen vehicle. The checkpoint was in the 30500 Block of Rancho California Road between the hours of 08:00 p.m. and 01:30 a.m.
On July 8, 2020, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Stations Problem Oriented Policing Team received information regarding possible illegal marijuana cultivation occurring in the unincorporated area of Riverside County, in the area known as Horsethief Canyon.
On Monday July 6, 2020 and Tuesday July 7, 2020, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) directed an operation targeting outdoor illegal marijuana cultivations in the unincorporated areas of Hemet and Sage.

On Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, about 4:00 AM, deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Station responded to a residence in the 3700 block of Packard Street, in the City of Jurupa Valley regarding an assault in progress.
