Human Trafficking of a Minor

On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) received a tip from the National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline regarding labor exploitation of a minor. During the investigation, it was learned a minor was smuggled into the United States under false pretense from another country.

Attempt Murder

On Thursday, December 17, 2020, at approximately 5:22 P.M, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, San Jacinto Sheriff Station, responded to a shooting that just occurred near the intersection of Hewitt Street and Esplanade Avenue, in the City of San Jacinto.

Child Abuse/Torture Suspects Arrested

On December 17, 2020, about 6:30 PM, Investigators assigned to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Moreno Valley Station arrested Michael Joe Macliz Sr. 45 years old and Christina Michael Daniela Rivera 47 years old, out of Moreno Valley. $1,000,000 warrants were issued for both suspects for Child Endangerment and Torture.
