Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale – September 12, 2020

On September 12, 2020 at 8:50 P.M., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies, assigned to the city of Perris, saw some suspicious activity behind businesses on Indian Hills Circle and 4th Street.  The deputies contacted the occupant of a vehicle and detained him.

The subject was in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun, 19 grams of methamphetamine, scales, and ammunition.  Deputies arrested Jamall Walters, age 42, of Perris.  The subject was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department encourages all citizens to report any suspicious activity.  Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is urged to call Deputy Luz Carrillo or Corporal Rice at Riverside County Sheriff’s dispatch at (951) 776-1099, or the Perris Station at (951) 210-1000.
