Robbery – June 29,2020

On June 04, 2020, at 7:19 AM, Moreno Valley Station deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of John F Kennedy Drive, city of Moreno Valley, regarding a robbery.  The victim, a 14-year-old juvenile, was walking in the area when the suspect approached him, brandished a knife and took several items of property from the victim by force.  Members of the Moreno Valley Station Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed the investigation and immediately began working the case.

Through assistance from the public, as well as local merchants, the suspect was identified as, Igor Borroel (24) from Moreno Valley who is currently out on parole.  On June 29, 2020 R..B.S.T. members arrested Borroel without incident.  Borroel was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Moreno Valley Station Deputy Ryan Morgan at 951-486-6700.
