Convicted Felons Arrested with a Loaded Firearm and Narcotics
On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 1:05 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (GVVCGTF) conducted suppression patrol in the city of Cathedral City. During the patrol, Gang Task Force Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop near Date Palm Drive and Tortuga Road in Cathedral City.

On May 18, 2022, at 9:46 AM, Thermal Station patrol deputies responded to the 83800 block of Airport Boulevard in Thermal, reference a 15-year-old female that was sexually assaulted by an 18-year-old Hispanic male.
Fatal Traffic Collision
On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, about 12:50 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a major injury traffic collision near the intersection of Bay Ave and Perris Blvd in the city of Moreno Valley.
Child Death Investigation
On September 16, 2022, around 7:00 p.m., a third suspect, identified as Miriam Silva, a 38-year-old resident of Coachella, turned herself in to the Thermal Sheriff’s Station.
Major Injury Collision/ Driving Under the Influence Arrest
On Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 4:49 PM Thermal Station deputies responded to a report of a major injury collision at the intersection of Avenue 48 and Dune Palms Drive in the city of La Quinta. When patrol deputies arrived, they located two vehicles, a white 2009 Nissan Rogue, and a gray 2021 Dodge Durango, with major collision damage.
