In this day and age the idea of Halloween is scary and dated. Dressing up your kids and walking around dark streets and up to people's houses to ask for candy is such a freighting idea. You don’t know whose house you are going up to.

Pastors Brian & Nicole Hawkins are hosting an event for every member of the community to show up and network. The event is called Community Connection and is all about coming together to discuss what is going on in our community and what can we do to better it.

After a long day of work and a back to school event with my sister in law and her three little ones, we decided to check out a local restaurant called Delgado's on the way home. We parked the car, unloaded all the kids and tiredly walked in the entrance.

Today the City of San Jacinto will present the State of the City held at the Soboba Casino Resort Center. Mayor Russ Utz will give his first address since taking a seat on Council in 2016. This year has marked many milestones for the City. Energy and excitement on the many positive directions will surely be felt.

This was it, the final game before it really starts to matter. Temecula Valley came into San Jacinto last Thursday to play the Tigers. This was the last game before Senior Receiver Antoine Sullivan transfer suspension is over, which should help San Jacinto's offense dramatically.
