VA notifies Veterans of compromised personal information

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Management today announced a data breach involving the personal information of approximately 46,000 Veterans and actions taken by the department to prevent and mitigate any potential harm to those individuals.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT – DRIVE THRU EDITION

This year, the Riverside Police Department will be doing National Night Out (NNO) a little different. 83% of the seven hundred elderly and disabled clients of the TRIP volunteer driver transportation service for Riverside County California were able to continue to access stores and get to scheduled medical appointments each month in March and April, according to Richard Smith, CEO of the nonprofit Independent Living Partnership (ILP).
