On August 14, 2022, deputies from the San Jacinto Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at First Street and Sheriff Avenue in San Jacinto. Upon deputies’ arrival, they learned a male may have been shot and fled on foot into an empty field near the dead end of Sheriff Avenue.
Deputies began searching the area and found a 15-year old male deceased in the field. The suspect(s) fled the area prior to law enforcements arrival.
