Local CalRTA Officer Receives State Award

Sue Breyer received the prestigious Ed Ely Award for Communications and Technology, May 14th at the annual CalRTA Convention in Sacramento. Sue serves as Vice President and Newsletter Editor for Division 33, and is the state Communications and Technology Chair.

When Lorin Alvarez began teaching at Noli Indian School on the Soboba Reservation about five years ago, she did not realize she would have the opportunity to combine her two passions in the classroom.
