Investigators have identified and arrested a third suspect in connection with the homicide investigation of Jeremy M. Abshear. The third suspect is identified as Aisa K. Bailey, 19-year-old, male, resident of Palm Desert.

On Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 6:00 a.m. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Bureau, United States Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC), Riverside County Gang Task Force Region 3, Region 4 and Region 7, Riverside County Sheriff’s Thermal Station Special Investigations Unit, La Quinta Special Enforcement Team, California Highway Patrol K9 Team and Riverside County PACT, served search warrants at three residences in the eastern Coachella Valley.
