On January 19, 2024, at 09:09 p.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a major-injury traffic collision on Wineville Avenue and Harvest Villages Way, Jurupa Valley. Deputies located a vehicle versus motorcycle collision and pronounced the driver of the motorcycle deceased at the scene.
On January 19, 2024, at 8:30 a.m., deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Colorado River Station responded to the 10000 block of Vernon Street in the unincorporated area of Blythe regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. When deputies arrived, they detained the suspect, a 14-year-old-juvenile.
On January 18, 2024, at 3:50 a.m., deputies responded to a burglary alarm in the 38000 block of El Viento, Thousand Palms. Upon arrival, they saw the business sustained significant damage to the front exterior of the business. After reviewing the surveillance video, it was discovered a white Kia Optima was observed driving into the doors of the business; however, it did not make entry.
